CARPHA marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast cancer awareness month is commemorated in October annually, to increase awareness of the impact of the disease and to highlight the ways in which this impact can be limited. In 2020, breast cancer became the most diagnosed cancer type in the world and overtook lung cancer in number of new cancer cases worldwide (1).
