Regional Data Analysis, Dissemination and Use Training

May 21st – 23rd, 2019


The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA), under the PANCAP-Global Fund project entitled Removing Barriers to accessing HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health services for Key Populations in the Caribbean, will host a second Regional Data Analysis, Dissemination and Use training from May 21st – 23rd, 2019 in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. This is a follow-up to the Data Analysis, Dissemination and Use training conducted from September 12th – 14th, 2018.

The target audience for this training workshop are National HIV/AIDS Programmes, decision makers, Key Population groups and first-line data collectors. The training will use a hands-on approach and provide an opportunity to apply the skills and techniques introduced.

The objectives of the training are:

  • To strengthen capacity in data analysis and use of data to improve programming and policy;
  • To strengthen mechanisms for regional information sharing; and,
  • To the increase the availability of strategic information to inform and guide policy and program development.
