Trinidad and Tobago Receives Donation of Medical Equipment from CARPHA

CARPHA continues to support its Member States with this important undertaking through the donation of medical equipment to the Ministry of Health in Trinidad and Tobago. On the 23rd of June, 2022, the Honourable Terrence Deyalsingh, Minister of Health, was present to accept this donation on behalf of the people of The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The equipment was acquired through funding provided by the European Union.

CARPHA Receives Support to Further Strengthen its Capacity to Respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic and Other Emerging and Re-emerging Threats in Member States

CARICOM Member States are poised to benefit from a fund to strengthen health systems to prevent, control and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and other emerging and re-emerging threats. The fund will also support the generation of evidence and information to inform decision-making on the management of public health priorities and emergencies and disease control programmes and policies.
