Virologist – P4
The incumbent provides leadership and technical expertise in clinical and public health virology oriented to the work of CARPHA and the CARPHA Medical Microbiology Reference and Referral Laboratory (CMML), including the provision of information and training services to CARPHA and its Member States. Develops and implements strategic plans and processes for the Virology work at the CMML. Works closely with the Head Laboratory Services and Network (LSN), Quality, Laboratory and Biosafety Managers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of quality services in the Caribbean Laboratory Network. Collaborates with relevant technical staff in the coordination of activities.
